Make Her Pay is a great thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat with some good twists and a tense game of cat and mouse. Leonie thinks she met the man of her dreams but everything is not what it seems. She has a secret from ten years earlier that involved a fatal traffic accident. How can meeting the love of her life and a dark secret be linked? That was a fun ride.

Make Her Pay seems to lay all its cards on the table from the beginning. In most books, the main character has a secret which is always part of the twist. Not this time and that was refreshing. From the start, we knew Leonie played a part in covering up a fatal accident. 

Once the twist started everything got pieced together in such an intestine way that intersected every portion of Leonie’s life. I kept getting shocked by twist after twist in the back half of this book, but it all led to an ending that didn’t fully work for me. My only complaint with this book was the ending. If you love thrillers this is definitely not a thriller to miss!
