This book made me so happy!

The story follows Alexis who is pulled over on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck in a small town called Wakan. Daniel stops to help her. Little did she know, Daniel was going to play a huge part in her future.

Alexis is a doctor in a big city trying to carry on the family legacy in a hospital. Daniel is the mayor of a small town also trying to carry on the family legacy.

The story is told through a dual POV so you got to see how Alexis and Daniel both feel for one another.

And let me tell you, you will feel the love Alexis and Daniel have for one another radiate off the pages.

I loved the small town of Wakan. The bond the neighbors have for one another was so heartwarming. They were a little family looking out for each other. Wakan really is magical. n

Lastly, Alexis's best friend Bri is the absolute best. She was honest and truthful toward Alexis and looked out for her with all the best intentions. I am so excited to read her story next. n

This book is now in my top 5 favorite books of all time.
