The Millionaire’s Wife had me on the edge of my seat from its brutal start all the way to its conclusion.

The story follows Anna over the last decade of her life. It starts in the present day when we find out the brutal murder from the opening of the book has a link to Anna. She knows who the killer is and it’s her ex-boyfriend. The story then Goes back and forth between the past and present-day to get you up to speed on Anna’s past and her ex.

The story lays it all out there for you and makes it seem like the book will be predictable but then it hits you with a twist around the halfway mark that I did not see coming and I absolutely loved it. After that twist, we start the denouement which was satisfying but I really expected one more big twist. I love the twist we got, but with it coming so early I was expecting something else significant that never came. It still has an excellent conclusion and I would highly recommend This book.
