The story follows a woman named Florence who is a ghostwriter to one of the best-selling romance novelists. She has been having a hard time writing the newest novel and had to go and tell her new editor, Ben, that she needs another book extension.

Florence’s family owns a funeral home back in her small town. She hasn’t been back home in a long time due to the town making fun of her for seeing ghosts. Florence and her dad had the ability to see and help ghosts. Yes, Florence is a ghostwriter, who see ghost.

Florence had to return to her hometown due to her father’s passing. While she was there, her new editor showed up as a ghost. She figured his unfinished business was finishing the novel. However, Ben helped her immensely to get her through this tough time of her dad’s passing.

Every character is so lovable in their own way. I really loved Florence and her family’s dynamic. I also loved everything about Ben.

It is a different kind of love story than you may be used to but it is absolutely adorable and so perfect in every way. It will make you laugh, cry, and just show you that things will be okay.
