I was starting to get down on myself and investigation books. I haven’t been hooked by one in a while and I was starting to think I do not enjoy these types of books like I thought I did. Pink Moon showed me I have just been reading the wrong investigation books. This one was amazing and sucked me in immediately.

Pink Moon follows Kit, Kit is a retired agent for a magical investigation department called Hex Support. Kit retired young after the death of her husband, she wanted to focus on her family. Years later her former boss calls her for help in investigating a murder of a very prominent magic user, and Kit accepts. n

During her investigation Kit crosses paths with a vampire named Palmer. Palmer is mysterious and Kit is both intrigued and suspicious of him. I loved the dynamic between the two.

This is the first book in the series and I can’t wait for more. Kit is a great character to focus a series around. I can’t wait to see what Kit is up to next. Definitely check out this book. n
