Conrad goes missing in the second book of this series. Jeremiah and Belly go on a search to find him. I did find this to be a bit slow but the love triangle did appear to get stronger. I find all the characters very likable so I am excited to see where they all end up in the final book.

Unlike my beautiful wife, I do not find any of these characters likable. Going into this book I did like Jeremiah, but that’s not the case after this one. There really is nothing redeemable about any of these characters. Unfortunately, I feel this is a step down from the first entry in the series and I think it’s just that I am not a fan of Jenny Han. I had similar feelings about To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and I also felt with each entry in the series characters got less and less likable.
