I loved this book! This was almost like a more mature modern retelling of The Mighty Ducks, which was one of my favorite movies growing up. n

Professional hockey player Mitch is a repeat offender for game misconducts and is suspended for 15 games. In this time he is told to coach a youth hockey team to help restore his image. While coaching this team he meets Andie. Andie is the legal guardian of her much younger brother Noah.

All three of them have suffered trauma in their life and this is a love story with found family. They find each other when they really needed to and I loved reading it. Mitch acts like a father figure/older brother to Noah and developed a wonderful relationship with him. With Andie, you will be screaming for these two to get together immediately. They were a perfect match and such a cute couple.
