A Man Called Ove is a truly great story. It will give you many feelings throughout the book from happiness to being heartbroken. n

It tells the story of a 59-year-old Swedish man named Ove. The story goes back and forth from the past to the present so you are able to learn all about Ove’s life. n

He had a hard upbringing but once he met Sonja, everything turned around for him. He saw life in a new life. n

n

Then we learn that Sonja is no longer with us and Ove doesn’t want to live anymore because of it. n

n

The way the universe kept making things happen to him at precisely the right time makes you believe that everything happens for a reason. n

n

The new friendships that Ove made throughout the book in the present time made me so happy to see. He was loved and wanted toward the end of his life. I still cried at the end even though I knew what to expect. n

n

I think after you read the book you should absolutely watch the movie with Tom Hanks. They portrayed the book perfectly. Each character was exactly what I imagined from the book.
