I knew immediately that I was going to love this book.

Ada is on her way to her sister’s wedding which is in a castle in Ireland. Her connecting flight gets canceled and this will be just one of many travel mishaps that happen throughout the story. The airline gets her a hotel voucher that was good for the night before, so now she has nowhere to stay. While leaving that hotel she grabs her suitcase and leaves, but that suitcase belongs to a man named Jack. They exchange suitcases and end up going to the pub for a drink.

As the story goes on, we come to find that Jack is actually the best man in her sister’s wedding and they are both trying to make it there in time. The adventure of them trying to make it to the wedding on time is filled with laughs, banter, and some emotional moments. I loved both Jack and Ada. I loved the banter and chemistry they had with one another. There are many laugh-out-loud moments.

This was such a great story from start to finish. From the meet-cute romance between Jack and Ada, to the adventure they go on, I loved every minute of it.

This is Heather McBreen’s debut novel, I can’t wait to see what she writes next!
