#Resort Love is the first book in the Lakeview Harbor series, but there is a short prequel called #Resort Romance that you should definitely check out. It sets this book up perfectly. 

The prequel does a lot of the set-up work, so when #Resort Love starts, it would have felt like it was missing something if I did not read the prequel first. Walker and his friends are going to take over Lakeview Harbor and try to turn it into something bigger and better. Harlow is a real estate agent who has been relentless in trying to convince Walker’s grandparents to sell the resort. 

Walker does not know who Harlow is, and Harlow does not know that Walker will be taking over the resort. Fate brings them together for an electric night that was meant to be a one-night stand. Business drags them back together in this excellent enemies-to-lovers romance. 

My biggest complaint about this book is that there are such amazing supporting characters, and they are just underutilized. I don’t know what’s next in the series, but I assume it will be another one of the friends’ stories. I’m personally hoping for Axel. Given the great characters, I would have expected them to play a bigger role in the story. 

This is the first book, but it’s not the best entry point. Start with #Resort Romance and then definitely check out #Resort Love.
