Book: Magic in the Air

Magic in the Air is a terrific book to get your fall going. Olivia is a single mom who owns a bakery in a town called Addersfield in Rhode Island. Addersfield is a magical town, you can only find it if you know about its existence. All the residents in Addersfield are witches. 

Draven shows up one day with an excuse on why he is in the town but given the town’s protection, Olivia immediately knew he was lying. She sensed something was up with him but she got to know him anyway. The more she learned about him the harder she fell. 

Olivia has cerebral palsy which is something I am not too versed in. As Olivia and Draven started to get to know each other he asked questions about it and I feel as the reader I learned a great deal about cerebral palsy. 

The general plot was great and the addition of the learning experience on cerebral palsy made this a great book to kick off the fall festivities.
