It Had To Be Yule is an adorable Christmas story.
The story follows Jules Silver, a famous actress, who is dating an even more famous actor. We find out that the boyfriend is a real jerk while on the red carpet. She needs to get out of there as soon as possible and then enters her childhood friend/best friend’s brother/knight in shining armor, Ethan Blake.
Ethan Blake is high on my list of favorite male characters in a story. He is such a classy, all-around good guy. He has been in love with Jules since he first laid eyes on her; he just never acted on it. Ethan wants what is best for everyone, from Jules, to his sisters, to his coworkers.
Jules and Ethan take a road trip from LA to Minnesota to head back home and escape the paparazzi madness. The road trip was so fun. They end up spending a week in a small Christmas town called Noel, Colorado. Everyone there was so lovely. It became a small found family with how welcoming they were to Ethan and Jules. We learn more about Jules’ past while we are in Noel.
I highly recommend adding this to your Christmas reading list!
