How Can I Trust You is a gripping mystery that kept me interested from start to finish. This entire book was just a slow drip feed of reveals and new information that kept you from being able to put the book down.

The story follows Ashley who finds her husband Dan covered in blood next to their best friend. Dan is arrested and now Ashley has to figure out what she believes. What I liked about this story was how grounded it was. There was nothing over the top to make it unbelievable. 

The conclusion of this book was the only part I felt was lacking. I was praising how the book didn’t go big and kept it grounded but with doing that with the ending it just felt a little too safe and ended up falling a little flat. 

This is one of the better thrillers I have read this year and I definitely recommend this to anyone.
