Book Review: Beachy keen
Book: Beachy Keen
Author: Kasey Stockton
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy.
Beachy Keen is part of the Falling for Summer series but will work just fine as a standalone. The story takes place mostly on the fictional island of Sunset Harbor that’s off the coast of Florida.
Cat is a local on the island. She has no intentions of ever leaving. She lost her parents when she was young and her uncle raised her. Her uncle was sick with cancer but thankfully beat it, but now the medical bills are piling up.
Noah is also a local from a rich family but he is usually not on the island. He is back on the island due to panic attacks requiring him to take a break from work. Noah finds out Cat needs money so he hires her as his assistant.
Cat and Noah have a history and I loved learning more about the two of them and their families. I never knew there was a subgenre of romance books about millionaires. This made me want to check out more books like this.
I love that even though Noah came from a family that’s rich, powerful, and famous he was still always down to earth and would always put Cat first.
This is the perfect book to read while relaxing on a beach this summer.
