Book Review: A Court of Thorns and Roses
Book: A Court of Thorns and Roses
Author: Sarah J. Maas
I’ll admit I was very nervous to start this series. I don’t normally read fantasy so I wasn’t sure if I would take a liking to it. I was also nervous that I would be confused very easily. Well, I was not confused at all and I loved this book so much.
It all starts when nineteen-year-old Feyre kills a wolf in the woods. She is dragged back to the magical land that she never believed existed. It was the land she believed was only told in stories. She learns that her punishment for killing the wolf was to live as a prisoner in the spring court with Tamlin.
We learn all about the lands and what Tamlin has going on. We learn he has a lot to deal with, but he has grown a liking to Feyre. In this book, I did like the relationship that Tamlin and Feyre formed. He looked out for her and made sure she was comfortable.
I couldn’t put this book down, especially when you get to the end. I promise your jaw will drop.
Final Score: 5/5
