Let’s Just Be Friends was a tough book for me to get through. The story was predictable and confusing, and the characters were not relatable but the saving grace of this book was the setting. The small town in the countryside of Scotland was described so well. This made me want to pick up and go visit the country. I wish the story had that same impact. n

This sounded like it was going to be a story about one main character finding love but it was actually about six different characters. The way it all went together was more confusing than enjoyable. I love books from multiple points of view but this just did not do it right.

There were six main characters. Of the six there was not one that I really loved. That’s a problem. I understand not every character will be for everyone but if you have six main characters I feel like at least one should speak to me in some way.

This book was a great book about the Scottish countryside and the animals you can find there. For a love story unfortunately this is one that I can not recommend.n
