Thank you, Good Girls PR, for an eARC!
I totally understand that it is fall, but I interrupt all fall activities to say that you have to add this book to your holiday TBR!
This is a classic Meghan Quinn read filled with hilarious banter and shenanigans!
The story follows Max, who will soon be taking over the family’s Christmas tree farm. One night, he suspects there were intruders on the empty property behind them. No one believes him. We find out there is someone on the property behind them: Betty, who is new to town. She is moving into the property to help her uncle open up a rival Christmas tree farm, as Max suspected all along.
Max decides to come up with a plan to stop it from happening by having Betty fall in love with him. I loved all the meet-cutes between Max and Betty. Max became one of my favorite characters. I love how extra he is.
The narrator is a perfect addition to the story, with many funny lines. And the Home Alone references were a perfect touch.
This rom-com is a must-read for the holidays!
