It’s rare that I finish reading something and have to ask myself this question: What the heck did I just read? That was what I said after this short story, especially after the out-of-nowhere spicy conclusion. I have no problem with some spice, but this was just so far out of left field and left me more confused than interested. 

Lucy makes a wish for love, and she gets sucked into a world where, I guess, she finds love. I just didn’t enjoy the short and weird journey to her love. I do typically struggle with short stories, so I would love to try another book by author Kimberly Lemming.
