Book: Until Next Summer

Author: Ali Brady

I am a part of the #blueteam in Ali Brady’s traveling ARC and I loved it! This was my first time being a part of a traveling ARC and it was so fun reading everyone’s comments and annotations along the way. Go Team Blue!

I loved this book so much, that I couldn’t put it down! This gave me all the summer feels.

The story is about two former best friends Jessie and Hillary who lost touch with each other for years. When they were kids at camp they decided to make a pact to become full-time counselors after camp. However, just Jessie stuck to that pact and remained at Camp Chickawah full-time as camp director. Hillary went on to get a corporate job and they stopped speaking.

We find out that the Camp will be sold so this will be its last summer. Jessie decides to set up some time for adults only to come to camp. Hillary returns to the camp helping with arts and crafts. In the middle of both women mending their friendship, they each also find love with men they never expected to.

The camp is loved by so many people as well as all the staff, that you will be rooting for the camp to stay open for years to come!

This book has everything you need, found family, rekindled friendships, and romance. This is a must-read for summer!

I never went to camp as a kid but it still brought me back to summer time in my youth. All of the activities will speak to you whether you were a camp kid or not, but if you did go to camp I think you will get all the nostalgia feels!

Final Score: 5/5
