Author: Kiersten Modglin
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy.
Every Kiersten Modglin book comes so close to being a book that I love but falls just short for me every time. I know one of them will eventually be one I love but I still have really liked every book by her.
You’ll Never Know I’m Here was an interesting premise that had me sucked in from the summary. A group of book influencers rent a house to all get together and meet up for the first time and it turns deadly. This was a short book and I felt it took a little too long to get going but once it got going it was a sprint to the finish.
There were some romance elements here which I did like and I felt it fit well into this fast-paced thriller. I was invested in the relationships and I wanted a happy ending for the main character Lena. The ending was not what I would call a bad ending but it wasn’t that strong either. The twist was not big enough and not all that surprising.
This is a fast read that you can finish in a day easily. I recommend all of Modglin’s books and this is no different, check it out
Final score: 4/5
