R. L. Stine is back with a new series called House of Shivers.

The story follows Betty and Billy who are twins. They have to stay at their Uncle Wendell’s house for a few days while their parents go away. Uncle Wendell’s house is located in the Wayward Forest.

Their uncle is an avid book collector. He is currently in possession of the scariest book ever. He tries to keep it safe but people are always trying to come and steal it from him.

The twins have to help their uncle keep the book safe. This includes everything from fighting off manbats to giant incests and more.

This was a very easy and quick read with the right amount of scare (for me!)

I loved reading Goosebumps books growing up so this gave me all the nostalgic feelings and I really enjoyed it.
