Book Review: Happy Place
Book: Happy Place
Author: Emily Henry
Harriet and Wyn are college sweethearts and were engaged for a brief time. They are currently broken up. However, their close knit friend group asks for them all to go away to their Maine cottage one last time before it’s sold. Harriet and Wyn don’t want their friends to know they are broken up so they pretend they are together for the weekend. They are in very close proximity having to share a room, a bed, and a bathroom together.
The story takes place during their college years as well as the present time. Throughout the present story, they begin to rekindle their relationship which makes me so happy. You could see they are both clearly still in love with one another.
We also learn that each friend has something going on in their lives. It was so good to see them all let it out and move on from issues they are going through.
This book will have you rooting for Harriet and Wyn the entire time.
This is my favorite Emily Henry book thus far.
