Review: The Coworker
Book: The Coworker
Author: Freida McFadden
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy.
Freida McFadden is on the fast track to becoming my favorite author. This is my fourth book by the author and I have loved every one. I can’t wait to start my next book by her.
In the Coworker Natalie is a sales rep and Dawn is the company accountant. Dawn goes missing and presumed dead and Natalie becomes the prime suspect.
During the book you are getting two primary perspectives. You follow Natalie and it seems like she is just a genuine person who makes some mistakes but is nice to everyone.
You then get a perspective from Dawn that’s through her emails to a friend that paints Natalie in such a negative way. It tells the story of how Natalie bullied Dawn and makes her look guilty.
You try to figure out what’s true and what’s not during the story and even if you do figure out what you can believe you will still be shocked and how this story concludes.
I will read anything that Frieda McFadden writes and will recommend all of them.
Final score: 5/5
